Hi,

I'd like people to not just review the website (cPBackup | Free Automated cPanel / WHM Reseller Backup (http://www.cpbackup.info)) but also the FREE script that I have developed.

A bit about cPBackup
"cPBackup is the best FREE method to backup cPanel / WHM reseller accounts to an offsite server using FTP or SCP protocols. Simple, free and email notifications upon completion.

Using cPanelís built-in API. cPBackup grabs all accounts listed within the reseller accounts webhost manager (WHM) and performs the full account backup generated using cPanel. These backups can be stored on a remote FTP/SCP server and can be used to restore the account to exactly how it was when it was backed up. cPBackup requires no special permissions is installed on a reseller-by-reseller basis and does not need to be installed at root level."

To test the script all you need is a cPanel reseller.

I appreciate any feedback the good the bad and the ugly. Although the script has been around for a while it is only recently I have really pushed to get it out in the marketplace.

The Website: cPBackup | Free Automated cPanel / WHM Reseller Backup (http://www.cpbackup.info)
The Script: http://www.cpbackup.info/latest/

Thanks

The idea i good but you have to work on your design. In the middle where the facebook is placed i don't like it.

I've noticed that some people have the side bar in the centre of the page with the actual content further down. Is this what is happening to you? I'm not much of a designer more a developer kinda guy.

There are great free wordpress templates for your site. You have just one product so you can find great templates.

I don't want to use Wordpress as its over complicated for my needs and slows down the site excessively compared to using a self-coded template, where I can control exactly what is used.

That really only happens when you add a junk theme & a bunch of plugins. Wordpress alone is actually pretty fast. Add together LiteSpeed, a light weight theme, proper coding, correct image sizes and a CDN and you're on the right path.

Wordpress is great... If you know how to optimize it to do exactly what you want.
